Common questions

No sound when I blow

Check that microphone access is granted: Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone › Bansuri Studio.
Blow gently across the bottom microphone rather than straight into it — a hard puff overloads the input.
Make sure your ringer is not silenced and the volume is up.
Remove any case that covers the bottom microphone.

The note is unstable

Steady breath produces a steady tone. Keep even airflow through the full length of a note rather than pulsing it, and cover the holes fully with the pads of your fingers.

Pitch bends when I don't want it to

Tilt bends the pitch by design. Hold the device still, or keep it flat, for a straight tone.

Where are my recordings?

Recordings are saved on your device and can be reached through the Files app under Bansuri Studio. They are never uploaded anywhere.

Privacy

The app collects nothing. Microphone audio is analysed on device for breath detection and is never recorded or transmitted.
